Hello, world!
Please let me introduce myself. I’m a little fetus, and I’m seven weeks old. Not only that, but I’m a tiny 9.7mm (whatever a mm is). It’s a good thing Mommy works at the hospital otherwise I’d have to wait weeks upon weeks to get this kind of attention.
Well, time for me to go. I have a lot of growing to do.

Our 8 week appointment
Today we had our first appointment with our doctor. We were very excited, and we feel that we have so much to learn. We met with our doctor and her nurse, who was very helpful answering all of our questions. Finally, there was an added bonus…our doctor wanted to do an ultrasound in her office, to take a peek at the baby. I cannot possibly explain the feelings we had as we saw for the first time this tiny flicker on the screen. It was so quick and strong. It was absolutely amazing to see our baby’s heart beat. I think it was a moment we will never forget.
